Providing Shelter, Restoring Hope
The goal of Villages 4 Vets is to build sustainable dome home villages for homeless veterans, offering safe housing and supportive communities at little to no cost. These homes are small Domes that are designed for a single veteran or a couple, comprising about 300 square feet. They are intended as interim housing while the Veteran has a chance to get back to work and back on his or her feet, but some may find them comfortable enough for long term residency.
They will be constructed in small villages, as shown below. We are actively seeking plots of land ranging from 5 to 20 acres on which to begin building these domes. Once built, each of them will be provided to a homeless veteran at a low rental.
Inside, these small homes are surprisingly roomy and comfortable.
A Murphy Bed (Full Size) folds up against the wall during the day, allowing lots of extra room. 
The small but functional kitchen is capable of much more than just microwavable meals, and a stackable washer and dryer means clean clothes and bedding for the veteran, as well.
The bathroom, while naturally small, is big enough for any normal bathroom needs, with a shower, sink and commode.
These floor plans show just how roomy the domes are with the Murphy bed folded up against the wall. When it is down, it may require climbing over the foot of the bed to get into the bathroom, but it won’t be difficult to do. The table and chairs can be moved into the living space during the day, and a television can be mounted on a wall for viewing.

Villages4Vets is part of Domes For Heroes, a not for profit organization dedicated to solving veteran homelessness through innovative, sustainable housing solutions. We believe that every veteran deserves a safe place to call home, especially after giving so much to defend our nation and our freedoms.
Our eco-friendly dome homes are cost-effective to build, energy efficient, and provide dignified housing for veterans transitioning to stable living situations.
